Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State has approved the appointment of a Special Adviser as well as chairmen and members of various boards and commissions in the state.

A statement issued on Friday by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, said Mr. Femi Fadairo has been appointed Special Adviser to the Governor on Special Duties and Strategy, replacing Hon. Gani Mohammed, who has been redeployed as Special Adviser to the Governor on Mines and Mineral Resources.
For the Ondo State Universal Basic Education Board, Mrs Brown Ademilegun was appointed Full-time Chairman, while Hon. Christopher Olorunfemi and Dr. Olarewaju Oyelade were appointed Full-time Members.
Other members of the board are Hon. Tayo Fayanju, Hon. Maurice Oripelaye, representing ALGON, and Comrade Ayodele Samuel Leke, representing the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), alongside other statutory members.
The Governor also approved the appointment of Pastor Segun Ayerin as Chairman of the Ondo State Local Government Service Commission.
Dr. Bunmi Eniayewu, Barrister Ogbaro Oyerinde, Mrs Ronke Ojo and Mr. Alonge Niyi Dennis were appointed Full-time Members of the commission.
Similarly, Alhaji Adam Chandy was appointed Chairman of the Ondo State Muslim Welfare Board, with Alhaji Muhammad Kamaldeen Akinyemi, Alhaji Akorede Nuren Olatunde, Alhaja Fausat Olorunyomi and Alhaji Abdulrasheed Olawoye as members.
For the Ondo State Christian Welfare Board, Pastor Peter Abimbola was appointed Chairman, while Rev. Fr. Patrick Adebayo, Pastor Mrs. Omoyemi Bosede Ore, Prophet Emilere Arabija Aiyedatiwa and Rev. Jide Baptist were appointed members.
Mr. Oluyemi Fashipe was also appointed Chairman of the Ondo State Consumer Protection Agency.
Governor Aiyedatiwa congratulated the new appointees and charged them to discharge their responsibilities with dedication and transparency, while putting the interest and welfare of the people of Ondo State above all other considerations.
The appointments, according to the statement, take immediate effect.
