Chema Andrés, Brighton midfielder has backed Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane to win the 2026 Ballon d’Or, citing the England captain’s performances over the past season.

Andrés, who has faced Kane during his time playing in Germany, said the Bayern forward’s performances had made a strong impression on him.
Asked to name his choice for this year’s Ballon d’Or, Andrés simply responded, “Harry Kane.”
“I have had to suffer playing against him in Germany. I think he’s had an incredible season,” he said, according to @MiaSanMia.
Kane has continued to attract recognition for his performances at club and international level, with Andrés highlighting the striker’s impact as a major reason for his choice.
The 2026 Ballon d’Or ceremony is scheduled to take place in London on October 26, when the winner of the prestigious individual award will be announced.
