Hajiya Umma El-Rufai, the mother of former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has died.
The family confirmed her passing on Friday, with her grandson, Bello El-Rufai, announcing the development in a statement. He said she died a few hours earlier and prayed for the repose of her soul.
She reportedly passed away in Cairo, Egypt, where she had been receiving medical treatment prior to her death.
