Nigeria and Russia have used the opportunity of the 4th International Diplomatic Dialogue in Abuja, to intensify efforts in the fight against corruption.
It provided a platform for both countries to share experiences and intelligence on preventive measures and assert recovery through the Russian experience, strategies and policies which include institutionalisation and legal reforms.
Adamu Musa Aliyu, Chairman of ICPC, and Igor Ivannikov, the Russian Chargé d’Affairs to Nigeria, expressed optimism that the collaboration will yield positive results and further enhance both countries anti-corruption efforts.
The conference, which is organized by the ICPC Anti-Corruption Academy of Nigeria, the research and training institute of the ICPC has its theme, “Development of Anti-corruption Strategies and Policies: The Russian National Experience.”
