It was an atmosphere of gratitude, pomp, and pageantry as Dr Tosin Adesile unveiled his new book, Fortified with Grace, at Abiss Hotel and Suites in Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital.
The event attracted eminent personalities from across sectors, including the Head of Service of Ogun State, Mr Kehinde Onasanya, who was represented by the Permanent Secretary, Bureau of Public Service Reforms, Mr Jola Oyeneye (mni).

Also in attendance were Prince Niyi Olatidoye, a retired Permanent Secretary and businessman; Mr Tobi Fletcher, popularly known as Ofada Boy; and the Commissioner for Education in Ogun State, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu, who was represented by Mrs Olatunji, a Director in the Ministry.

Other dignitaries present included Dr Richard Adewole of Sickle Cell Management in Lagos State, Chief Segun Soyoye, a retired General Manager of the Ogun State Printing Corporation, Chief Mrs Oluyemisi Adesile, Dr Adetokunbo Soyoye, Technical Assistant to the Commissioner for Environment in Lagos State, Oloye Akolawole Soremi, State Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Ogun State chapter, Mr Demola Oladosu, retired Deputy Director of the Nigerian Television Authority, as well as Mr and Mrs Samuel Orija, among others.

Reviewing the book, Mr Sunday Oguntola, represented by Mr Ayo Okunowo, described Fortified with Grace as a memoir that captures the author’s journey through life. According to him, the book chronicles key events, experiences, relationships, and values that have shaped the author over the past 40 years.

He noted that the 136-page book, structured into 23 chapters, is written in a conversational style and explores various aspects of the author’s life, including his background, education, professional contributions, family life, and personal interests.
Guests at the event commended Dr Adesile for his consistency, resilience, and commitment to personal growth and societal impact.

The ceremony also featured a cake-cutting session and the presentation of bursary awards to five students—four from University of Lagos and one from Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta.

The beneficiaries were Oladele Abdulrahman, Beyioku Joseph, Ogunaike Esther, Sanni Orimidara Sunday, all of the University of Lagos, and Famuyiwa Olasile Daniel of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta.
