Hyacinth Alia, The Governor of Benue State has dissolved the Benue State Executive Council and appointed Moses Atagher, former Attorney General of the state and Commissioner for Justice, as new Chief of Staff.
A statement by Tersoo Kula, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor describes
Mr Atagher as a seasoned administrator who had also served as acting Managing Director, Federal Mortgage Bank.
It adds that the governor appreciated all the out gone Commissioners who worked with him for two years, calling on those who might not be reappointed to stay in the party and continue to liaise with the system as they were only paving way for other citizens to replace them and also contribute their quota.
Speaking on behalf of the dissolved Commissioners, Bemsen Mnyim appreciated the Governor for giving them the opportunity to serve the state.
