UNILAG Students suspends Protest, gives management 48 hours to reverse fees

The Students’ of University of Lagos (UNILAG) have suspended their ongoing protest hoping the management will look into their agitations.

The protest held to Express displeasure against the hike in school fees which some cannot afford despite the installmental payments.

Protesters were seen carrying placards with different inscriptions, like “We Are Students Not Customers”, “Madam VC We can not breathe”, N160,750 to study Yoruba Language”.

The student resolved to suspend the protest after giving the school management 48 hours ultimatum to reverse all hike fees.

The protesting students also asked the school management to obey the Federal government directive on reversal of school fees.

They asked the Nigerian Police to release all protesters that have been arrested or expect a national protest by students.
