Nigerians’ Spending Power Rose in Recent Times-Tinubu’s Spokesperson

By Yusuf Olukokun

Ajuri Ngelale, President Bola Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, has laid a claim about Nigerians’ spending power, maintaining enthusiastically on how it has significantly risen over the past months.

Ajuri Ngelale, made this known during his media interview with TVC, when discussing the fluctuating performance of naira in tandem with US dollar in the international market.

When questioned about pain Nigerians have been facing daily, in doing business and enjoying their standard of living due to the recent reforms of the President, he said, “I think that that is something that could have been said perhaps two months ago.

“I think that is less the case now when you consider the fact that Nigerians have borne witness that the spending power of Nigerians has substantially increased over the course of the last one month plus, given the reforms that have been put in place by this administration, even within the Central Bank of Nigeria.”
