Benue State chapter of All Progressives Congress (APC) avidly organized prayer session for Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Nigeria’s President, the nation itself and others guiding the affairs of the nation.
The prayer session which was held at the private residence of George Akume, Secretary-General of the Federation, was splited into two segments—first one at the chapel and second one was held at an open ground.
Eight prayer points were focused on by Bishops who were in attendance, they prayed for the country, peace and wisdom for Tinubu to be able to guide the country well, economic and security turn around for the country, as well as God’s intervention toward the ongoing nationwide strike.
Other prayer points were directed toward Benue State and its Governor, Reverend Father Haycinth Alia for peace to reign in the land, politically and security-wise.
Austin Agada said the prayer session was held due to imbalance the country is experiencing under President Tinubu’s administration.
“This prayer session was organized for President Bola Tinubu, the nation, and the SGF, Senator George Akume, on the occasion of one year in office.
“The country’s situation; the security challenges, the economy, and the ongoing strike by organised labour.
“We all know that a lot of reforms are being formulated to take the nation to the path of greatness, so we need to pray for the president and his lieutenants for God’s guidance and intervention in the ongoing nationwide strike embarked upon by the organized labour as well as the turn around of the nation’s economy.”
Agada said Benue State and North Central at large will keep on supporting President Tinubu and also pray for his success in office.
