Pastor E. A. Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has said he will die on a Sunday after eating pounded yam.
Pastor Adeboye disclosed this on Thursday during the Holy Communion Service, where he said if Jesus Christ tarries, he would die on a Sunday after attending a church service.
According to him, on that Sunday, he would take permission to preach, then go home to eat pounded yam, sleep, and find himself in Heaven.
He said Christians are not expected to die of sickness but to sleep in the Lord. He urged Christians to retrace their steps and amend their ways and called on people to give their lives to Jesus Christ to be candidates for heaven.
