President Tinubu Will Continue to Support Nigerians — Remi Tinubu

Senator Oluremi Tinubu, Nigeria’s First Lady has openly declared the commitment of President Bola Tinubu toward supporting vulnerable Nigerians.

This was disclosed today, June 4 2024, at the food outreach program in Lafia, Nasarawa state, which was designed to support the less privileged in the society, solely to ensure food security and banish insufficiency.

Represented by the wife of the Vice President, Hajia Nana Shettima, the wife of the president appreciated everyone for believing in Tinubu’s administration and Renewed Hope Initiative.

According to the statement on First Lady’s X platform, the food outreach will cut across every state and the FCT, specifically leper colonies, internally displaced camps, persons with disabilities and other vulnerable groups.

“The Food Outreach targets Internally Displaced Persons, Persons with Disabilities, Leper Colonies, and other vulnerable groups across the country. The Federal Capital Territory, Kano, and now Nasarawa have benefitted, with Benue State next in line.

“In addition to food security, RHI focuses on Health, Agriculture, Education, and Economic Empowerment. We have donated agricultural implements, provided financial support to women farmers, awarded scholarships, offered ICT training for women, and supported the elderly.

“We are adding 1,200 bags of rice to the food packs and will soon commence disbursing a N50,000 grant to 1,000 female petty traders in each state and the FCT”, the statement stated.
