The Police have arrested two suspects perceived to be behind major human trafficking rings in Delta State.

Edafe Bright, Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the Delta State Command, disclosed that the suspects lured a 19-year-old girl to Cote d’Ivoire for prostitution. He said the lady’s refusal to engage in the illegal business on arrival led to the removal of her womb.

The police presented the 19-year-old victim with her stitched belly to the media at the Delta State Police Command, Asaba. Edafe Bright narrated the sad story, as the suspects admitted they received N400,000 and N150,000, respectively.
