Biliya, a senior lieutenant to suspected bandit leader Kachalla Muhammadu, has reportedly been killed after his gang came under attack by security forces in Katsina State.

The reported death was disclosed on Saturday, August 15, 2026, by security analyst Zagazola Makama, who cited intelligence from a monitored conversation between two suspected bandit associates, Mamiyo and Juli Asso Maha.
According to the report, the conversation was monitored at about 11:34pm, after Juli reportedly asked Mamiyo about Biliya’s whereabouts.
Mamiyo, who was said to have returned from the location of Kachalla Muhammadu, reportedly told his associate that Biliya and members of his gang had moved towards the northern part of their base in the Matazu axis for an operation.
The group allegedly entered an undisclosed town and later left Biliya inside a shop before security forces launched an attack.
Upon returning to their leader’s location, Mamiyo reportedly confirmed that Biliya had been killed during the incident.
The report further stated that the development caused anger among members of the group, with Juli expressing frustration over the reported death.
However, there has been no official confirmation from security authorities on Biliya’s reported death as of the time of filing this report.
