SENATE SCREENS, CONFIRMS DORO AS MINISTER

Senate has screened and confirmed Dr Bernard Mohammed Doro as Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Dr Doro from Plateau state was nominated last week by President Bola Tinubu.

The minister holds degrees in pharmacy and law and masters degree in business strategy and advanced clinical practice.

He is the third person appointed as minister from Plateau state under the current administration.

First to be appointed was Simon Lalong who later won a court case and proceeded to the senate.

Also appointed was Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, who also later vacated the ministerial seat, after being appointed the National Chairman of the ruling APC.
