As controversy lingers over the Average Cost and Estimated cost of Road Construction under the present Administration, Dave Umai, the Minister of Works, said he remains unperturbed regarding the outburst of the Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde.
Umai, while addressing journalists after an inspection of road construction in Nasarawa State, Umai called out Governor Makinde on open debate on the matter.
The Minister has led officials of the Federal Ministry of Works on an inspection of an ongoing road project in Nasarawa, where he was joined by the governor, the state, Sule Abdullahi.
Making clarification on the cost per kilometer of road, Umai said cost per kilometer could be divided into estimated cost, which has element of variance and average cost, which is definitive.
