The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that all candidates registered for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) can now print their Examination Notification Slips.

This was disclosed in a statement issued on Thursday in Abuja by JAMB’s Public Communication Advisor, Fabian Benjamin.

According to him, the 2026 UTME is scheduled to commence on Thursday, 16 April 2026, across approved Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres nationwide.

Benjamin emphasised the importance of the exam notification slip, noting that it contains vital information such as each candidate’s examination date, venue, and time. He urged all candidates to print the slip early to avoid last-minute challenges

To access the slip, candidates are to visit the Board’s official website, www.jamb.gov.ng, and click on the “2026 UTME Slip Printing” link.

“Each candidate has been assigned a specific schedule, and it is important they arrive at their designated centre well ahead of time to allow for proper screening and accreditation before the commencement of the examination,” the statement added.

JAMB also revealed that the 2026 UTME will feature enhanced security measures aimed at combating examination malpractice. Candidates and CBT centre owners were cautioned to adhere strictly to examination guidelines, as the Board will apply stringent sanctions against any form of misconduct.

The Board further encouraged candidates to familiarise themselves with their examination centres ahead of the scheduled date to ensure a smooth and hitch-free exercise.
