Operatives of the Nigeria Police Force attached to Ogun State Command have rescued the wife of the former Assistant Inspector General, Hakeem Odumosu.

ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, Force Public Relations Officer, confirmed this on his official X handle on Thursday morning.
Adejobi added that the abductors of the former AIG’s wife were killed, and ransom was recovered from the culprits.
He said the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, commended the police operatives and the Ogun State Commissioner of Police, Lanre Ogunlowo, for a good job.
The statement read, “BREAKING: Police Neutralise AIG Hakeem Odumosu’s wife Kidnappers, Recover Ransom.
“The IGP has commended the Police Operatives and CP Ogun State, Lanre Ogunlowo, for a good job. We are committed to safeguarding Nigerian citizens and our dear country.”
Mrs Odumosu was abducted last Thursday at the entrance of her residence in the Arepo area of Ogun State.
