University of Lagos (UNILAG), University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) and Covenant University management have denied the claim of National Universities Commission (NUC) about having fake professors in their Universities.
University of Lagos (UNILAG) management was the first to refuted the report of NUC over the 5 names of fake professors in UNILAG in a statement issued on Saturday signed by the communication unit.
In the same vein, in a statement issued on Sunday by Kunle Akogun, Management of the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) in Kwara State has also dismissed reports that 11 fake professors were uncovered in the institution.
Covenant University in Ota, Ogun State, has also denied that four fake professors, among those purportedly discovered by the National Universities Commission (NUC) are from the university.
