Hajiya Dada, the mother of Nigeria’s late President Umaru Musa Yar’adua, has passed away.
It was learnt that she died at the Katsina Teaching Hospital on Monday evening.
Hajiya Dada was a figure of historical significance, known as the only woman in Nigeria to have given birth to a President, Umaru Musa Yar’adua, a former Vice President, Shehu Musa Yar’adua, a Minister, and a Governor.
Additionally, three of her granddaughters have held the position of First Lady, as wives of the former Governors of Katsina, Bauchi, and Kebbi States.
