ABEOKUTA-Abeokuta Grammar School Old Boy’s Association,(AGSOBA) has elected new officers to run the association for the next two years.
At the 113th Annual General meeting held at the AGSOBA hall,the outgoing President,Hon. Lanre Laoshe appreciated the members of AGSOBA for the opportunity to serve and for their numerous support.
He said part of his administration plan was to establish AGSOBA University which will go a long way in solving the deficit in our tertiary institutions.
The Electoral committee Chairman for the election year, Agsoba Femi Kotoye who presided over the election saw the emergence of Agsoba Sunday Oduntan,DA as the new President General,Agsoba Babatunde Bello,1st National Vice President, Agsoba Abiona Morolari,DA as 2nd National Vice President,Agsoba Oladimeji Ajayi, Secretary General,Agsoba Tosin Adesile, National Publicity Secretary, Agsoba Tosin Nosir,Assistant General Secretary, Agsoba Bayo Oluwole,DA National Social Secretary, Agsoba Nike Beegbaji, Assistant Social Secretary, Agsoba Oladipupo Ajayi,National Treasurer, Agsoba Seun Ashimolowo,Assistant Financial Secretary, Agsoba Adeboye,National Financial Secretary.
The New President General, Agsoba Sunday Oduntan, DA appreciates Agsoba for voting him saying he will not disappoint them.
Agsoba are Old boys who passed out from Abeokuta Grammar School in Abeokuta which has produced the likes of Prof. Wole Soyinka,Late Fela Anikulapo Kuti,Mr. Tunde Kelani, Late Chief Olatunbosun Lampejo and a host of others.
