The Kebbi State government has announced the death of the emir of Zuru, Major General Muhammad Sani Sami the second
Alhaji Garba Umar-Dutsinmari, Kebbi state Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs in a press release disclosed that the Monarch died after a brief illness in a London hospital at the age of 81.
He left behind four wives and seven children.
The Kebbi State Government in the release extends its heartfelt condolences to his immediate family, Zuru Emirate Council, the people of Zuru and the entire people of Kebbi State.
Burial arrangements will be announced in due course.
