The Police have arrested two more suspected cultists over the killing of an undergraduate of the University of Benin on Monday.

The suspects were apprehended in a coordinated manhunt by the Edo State Police Command, in collaboration with the Edo State Security Corps.

The arrest is coming 24 hours after 12 suspects were arrested across the state for involvement in cult related activities, leading to the death of the undergraduate student, identified as Alexander.

Eno Ikoedem, Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), of the Edo State Command in a statement, disclosed that the arrest of the suspects also led to the recovery of a gray Mercedes Benz SUV, belonging to a suspected cult leader, identified as Balogun Israel, who is currently at large.
