NDLEA Kaduna State Command Operatives on patrol along Zaria – Kano expressway a 68-year – old man, Ifeanyi Egwolonwu, was arrested at Gwargwaje, Zaria with 2,770 ampoules of pentazocine injection, 100 ampoules of Diazepam injection, 11,000 tablets of Diazepam and 4,500 tablets of Exol – 5, all weighed 15.2 kilograms of different psychotropic substances.
On Abuja – Kaduna expressway, NDLEA Kaduna State Command also arrested a woman, Aisha Isah, at Kaduna Toll – gate with 266 rounds of live AK – 47 Ammunition.
At Banke area of Kaduna State, Operatives also arrested seven suspects, including Faisal Adamu, and recovered 178.85 kilograms of Cannabis Sativa, alongside quantities of Diazepam, Tramadol, Exol – 5, and Pregabalin tablets.
The State Commander, CN Maijama’a Muhammad commended Officers and Men of the Command for their relentless efforts, dedication and professionalism in the discharge of their duties, and urged them to redouble their efforts in combating drug trafficking and illicit substances in the state.
