The Nigeria Police Force and the Nigerian Air Force have pledged to strengthen collaboration towards the peaceful conduct of the 2027 general elections.

At a visit of Air Marshal Sunday Aneke, Chief of Air Staff, to IGP Tunji Disu, Inspector-General of Police, both security chiefs agreed to deepen intelligence sharing and strengthen operational cooperation to make Nigeria safer.
The two security chiefs expressed confidence that the renewed partnership and joint efforts would strengthen Nigeria’s security architecture and improve the country’s ability to respond to emerging threats.
They also pledged to deepen cooperation between the Police and Air Force through intelligence sharing, joint training, and coordinated operations, particularly in tackling security challenges and ensuring a safe environment ahead of the 2027 elections.
