The Ogun State Police Command has launched a manhunt for one Kola, who is alleged to have sexually molested a 17-year-old boy on three occasions in January 2026.

The Commissioner of Police, Ogun State Command, CP Bode Ojajuni, ordered the immediate arrest of the suspect following a formal report lodged at the Adigbe Police Division on September 8, 2026, at about 5:00 p.m.
According to the Command, the teenager, who was accompanied by his parents, alleged that Kola sexually assaulted him on three separate occasions in January and subsequently threatened him into silence. Following the report, the teenager was taken to a hospital within the Adigbe axis for medical examination, while detectives commenced investigation into the allegation.
The Police Command clarified that the matter was brought to its attention only on September 8, 2026, when the formal complaint was made. The suspect is currently at large, prompting the Commissioner of Police to direct detectives to intensify efforts to locate and arrest him.
The Command assured the public that the case is being handled with urgency, professionalism and sensitivity, stressing its commitment to protecting children and other vulnerable persons.
The Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Oluseyi B. Babasiyi, said the Command would continue to ensure that allegations of abuse are properly investigated and that justice is served.
