The Academic Staff Union of Universities may declare a month warning strike.
The decision was arrived after a two days NEC meeting held at Unilag saying Unilag Federal Government was insincere.
During the vote,it was gathered that majority of the lecturers have agreed on strike.
Members of the union’s National Executive Council held marathon meetings since Saturday at the University of Lagos.
In an on-going press conference to announce the resolutions of the two-day meeting titled, ‘NEC for NEC’ presided over by the President,Professor Emmanuel Osodeke.
He said,ASUU took the option of warning strike which may later transmit to full blown strike if Government does not show seriousness or address the issues brought before it.
