The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has received six Nigerian returnees from the United States of America.

The returnees arrived at the Cargo Terminal of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos.

According to NEMA, the group arrived at about 10:13 p.m. aboard a Beechcraft 1900 aircraft with registration number N62FF. The group comprised five males and one female, all adults.

The reception exercise was carried out by the NEMA Lagos Operations Office in collaboration with stakeholders, including the United States Consulate, Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) and ExecuJet.

Upon arrival, officers of the Nigeria Immigration Service conducted immigration documentation and profiling to ensure proper identification and record-keeping.

NEMA said reception and post-arrival support services were provided to facilitate the returnees’ transition, in line with the Federal Government’s efforts to ensure safe, orderly, and dignified return of Nigerian citizens.
