Pavel Durov, Telegram founder, has revealed that he is willing to cover the full cost of IVF treatment for women under 38 who wish to conceive using his sperm.

The 41 year old billionaire, worth an estimated 17 billion dollars, claims to have fathered more than 100 children through sperm donation, in addition to six children from three partners.
Durov said he began donating sperm in 2010 to help a friend struggling to conceive and continued after fertility experts warned of a shortage of healthy donor material.
He has described his actions as a civic duty aimed at addressing declining sperm counts and reducing the stigma around sperm donation.
In interviews, Durov said he makes no distinction between children conceived naturally or through donation, adding that all of them will inherit a share of his estate once they can establish shared DNA with him. He has also linked falling sperm counts globally to environmental factors such as plastic pollution.
According to reports, Durov’s sperm was advertised for free at a Moscow fertility clinic, with IVF costs covered for eligible women.
Though he no longer donates directly, samples remain stored at the Altravita Clinic and are available to unmarried women aged 37 or younger, subject to strict screening and legal restrictions.
Durov said his past donations have helped couples in more than 12 countries have children and announced plans to make his DNA information accessible so his biological children can find one another in the future.
