Operatives of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested 150 suspects and recovered 100 unregistered motorcycles, firearms, suspected stolen property, and illicit drugs during a raid in Igando area of Alimosho local government in Lagos.

This was disclosed In a statement signed by SP Abimbola Adebisi, Lagos Police Command Public Relations Officer, which stated the operation was conducted under the ongoing Operation KO S’AYE.

According to the statement, on Sunday, July 5, 2026 at about 5:45 a.m., a joint team of operatives raided criminal hideouts at Boolar, Okofilling Bus Stop, Igando and other identified black spots within the Area M, Idimu axis.

“During the operation, a total of one hundred and fifty (150) suspects were arrested. Exhibits recovered include one hundred (100) unregistered motorcycles, fifty-four (54) mobile phones, one (1) double-barrel gun, two (2) single-barrel guns, one (1) locally made double-barrel short gun, two (2) military camouflage uniforms, assorted charms, six (6) generators suspected to have been stolen, substances suspected to be Indian-hemp and various quantities of illicit drugs,” the statement read.
The police said all suspects are currently in custody while investigations are ongoing to determine individual culpability. Those found culpable will be charged to court.
CP Fatai Tijani, Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, commended the operatives for their professionalism. He reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to sustaining Operation KO S’AYE across the state to deny criminals safe haven.
CP Tijani also urged residents to provide timely and credible information to assist the police.
