CP Emenari Ifeanyi, Benue State Commissioner of Police has called on members of the public to avail the police and other security agencies useful information that will help nip crime in the bud, as the police intensify effort towards flushing criminal elements from the forest.
CP Emenari, stated this while addressing journalists on his maiden press briefing in Makurdi that the command is leaving now stone unturned in its quest to tackle armed herders, bandits, kidnappers, armed robbers and cult – related activities from the state, stating that tactical teams and logistics have been deployed to ensure peace and security of farmers and residents in the state.
The Commissioner of Police, who appreciated Governor Alia’s effort towards the security of lives and properties of the people and the support of the police, reiterated the Inspector general of police directive safety of the people in BENUE and the safe return of farmer’s o their communities.
CP Emenari, who is barely a month old in BENUE. Has recorded some successes with the arrest of 42 bandits in the forest and some criminal elements with arms and ammunition within the short period across the state.
