Police Arrest Armed Robbers, Recover 2 Pump Action Guns In Delta

The Nigeria Police Force in swift operation, intercepted armed robbery gang in Delta State, recovering arms and ammunition in the operation.
Operatives of the Buffalo Patrol Team of the Delta State Police Command, in a routine stop-and-search operation, arrested three armed suspects and recovered two pump action guns loaded with seven live cartridges in Orerokpe.

The operation, according to a statement by the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, of the Command, Edafe Bright, was led by the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of operations DCP Olumiyiwa Adejobi.

The operatives were said to have recovered the guns through a detailed search on the Toyota SUV used by the three suspects, before the suspects were taken into custody.

CP Yemi Oyeniyi, Delta State Police Commissioner, commending officers and men of the Command for their vigilance and professionalism, reiterated the resolve to sustain proactive policing and intelligence-driven operations aimed at Curbing the movement of illegal arms and other criminal activities across the state.
