Tinubu Submits 2027 Nomination Form

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has submitted his nomination and expression of interest forms to the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to seek re-election for a second tenure in the 2027 general elections.

Kashim Shettima, Vice President, led the APC National Working Committee to receive the Expression of Interest and Nomination Form of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at a well-attended ceremony at the International Conference Centre, Abuja.

According to VP Shettima, “the occasion was witnessed by governors, leaders and members of the National Assembly, party elders, and other critical stakeholders across the country.”

Shettima said the massive turnout and overwhelming show of solidarity further reaffirmed the confidence Nigerians and party faithful have in the Renewed Hope Agenda and the purposeful leadership of President Tinubu

According to him, it was not just a ceremonial event but a strong demonstration of unity, continuity, and collective resolve to consolidate on the gains already being recorded under his administration.

“As a party, we remain committed to deepening internal democracy, strengthening national cohesion, and supporting policies and programmes that will continue to reposition our nation for sustainable growth and prosperity.

“Together, we move forward with renewed confidence and greater determination for a stronger and more prosperous Nigeria,” Shettima declared.

The lawmaker, representing Ikeja Federal Constituency, Lagos State, in the House of Representatives, James Abiodun Faleke, also celebrated the submission of Tinubu’s form.

According to Faleke, “To the glory of God, today we submitted the Presidential Nomination Form for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

“The epoch-making event took place at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre, Abuja, and was presided over by our Vice President, H.E. Kashim Shettima.

“The event was witnessed by some Governors from various states, members of the APC National Working Committee, led by our able Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, and other faithful party members”.
