Residents of Abu-Fadan in Fadan Ninzo Chiefdom, Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State, have been thrown into fear following a bandit attack that left two people dead and two others abducted.

The incident occurred between 8pm and 9pm on Saturday when the attackers reportedly invaded the community and operated around a private clinic.
According to a statement by the Secretary of the Fadan Ninzo Traditional Council, Aminu A. Abdullahi, the two victims were walking along the road close to the clinic when the assailants, who were reportedly hiding in a plantation behind the facility, flashed a torchlight at them.
The victims were said to have asked who was behind the light before the attackers allegedly opened fire, killing both of them.
Abdullahi identified the two abducted victims as Ezekiel, a resident of Gwantu who owns the private clinic, and the wife of the late District Head of Abu, Audu Galadima, popularly known as Fagachin Ninzo.
He said security personnel were quickly deployed to the area following the attack to restore normalcy and prevent further violence.
The traditional council official condemned the incident, describing it as part of an emerging wave of banditry in the chiefdom.
He called on security agencies to intensify surveillance and take decisive action to identify and apprehend those behind the attack.
Efforts to obtain confirmation from the Kaduna State Police Command were unsuccessful, as its spokesperson, DSP Mansir Hassan, did not respond to calls seeking clarification on the incident.
