The Lagos State Police Command has revealed that the autopsy conducted on the corpse of Ifeanyi Adeleke, son of Davido and his fiancée, Chioma Rowland, shows that he died as a result of drowning.
SP Benjamin Hundeyin,Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer confirmed this development.
He said, “Autopsy has been concluded. It confirms the boy -Ifeanyi- drowned.”
The unfortunate incident led the police to conduct an autopsy to determine whether Ifeanyi died as a result of drowning in a swimming pool at his father’s residence in the Banana Island area of Lagos State.
It was however unclear if the family authorise the autopsy and who paid for it.
Although,it was learnt that it has been standard practice for the police to conduct an autopsy in such a case.
