Despite the heavy presence of Police,Civil Defence and other paramilitary to stop the protest against the opening of tollgate,10 protesters have been arrested by security operatives at the Lekki toll gate in a live video.
The protesters were detained in a black maria and are about to be taken to an unknown location while they await other defaulters to the threat by the government.
A total of four ladies and six guys were seen in a black Maria in a video with one of the arrested protesters,a lady,saying, “We have been arrested. Over ten of us. We are kept in a black maria stationed at the toll gate now.”
It would be recalled that the Federal Government and the police had earlier warned youths who planned to protest at the Lekki tollgate on Saturday to reconsider their stance.
