Photo News: Youth Protests Over High Cost Of Living in Ibadan

Residents of Ibadan,  Oyo State capital on Monday have staged a protest over the high cost of living in Nigeria.

Protesters were seen around the Mokola area in the state wielding placards with various inscriptions such as “Reopen Our Borders” ‘End food hike and inflation,’ ‘End Bad Government’ ‘The poor are starving,’ and ‘Tinubu, don’t forget your promises,’ etc.

They were also chanting songs to show their grievances against the state of the economy, skyrocketing price of food, hardship in the land, etc.

Armed policemen were seen at the venue of the protest.
