The University of Ibadan has increased freshers school fees to N412,000 Per Session for the new academic year.
This development was confirmed by Prof. ‘Keye Abiona, Dean of Student Affairs during an interview on Thursday, he said, “The new fees displayed on the portal of freshers resuming for the 2023/2024 academic session are correct, he noted that “it’s only for freshers.”
The school fees for freshers varies according to their faculties as displayed on the students portal within the institution.
Some freshers have to pay a mandatory
bundle fee of N372,000, technology levy of N20,000 and utility levy of N20,000 accumulating to N412,000.
Meanwhile, in some faculties the total amount students have to pay ranges from N278,000 and N203,000 respectively.
This is coming after a week when President Bola Ahmed Tinubu signed the review students loan bill.
