EndBadGovernanceinNigeria Day 10: Protest continues in Lagos

Protesters have gathered at Alausa Secretariat in Lagos to expressed their displeasure over the state of economy and high cost of basic commodities in Nigeria. Today’s protest marks the Day 10 of protest to call for a stop to bad Governance.

Despite heavy present of different security agencies at the location of the protest, the protesters were seen singing solidarity songs with various placards stating they there is hunger in Nigeria, FG should return fuel subsidy, etc.

The #EndBadGovernanceinNigeria in Nigeria protest kick started on the 1st of August 2024 is expected to end today,10th of August 2024 following 10 days of a nationwide protest.

While addressing the nation on Sunday 4th of August 2024, President Bola Tinubu has urged the protesters to bear with his administration, he said government is working on policies to reshape the economy of Nigeria.
