Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has said the North-Central region will deliver massive votes for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.
Yilwatda said the decision was in recognition of what he described as Tinubu’s unprecedented contributions to the development of the region.
He made the declaration on Saturday at the North-Central grand endorsement rally for Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima in Lafia, Nasarawa State.
The APC chairman urged the people of the region to remain united behind the President, assuring that the North-Central would reciprocate his administration’s efforts through electoral support.
“North-Central stands with Mr President. North-Central appreciates Mr President,” Yilwatda said.
He added, “President Tinubu has done what no previous president has done for North-Central. We will stand with him, we will vote for him, and we will support the APC because of President Tinubu.
“North-Central will repay him with massive votes in the 2027 elections.”
The endorsement comes as political parties and their supporters intensify preparations ahead of the 2027 general elections.
