The Operatives of Iruekpen raided the house and premises of one Emmanuel Abraham 30yrs and recovered one Lar Mark Riffle with ten (10) rounds of ammunition and also arrested two others namely; Mohammed Oboshi 25yrs, and Francis Hari 30yrs based on credible information on Monday 7th of April 2025. Case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for further investigation.
This was disclosed in a statement on Wednesday by Moses Joel, Edo State Police PRO, he said, โFollowing a complaint received on 03/04/2025 at about 2200hrs about a robbery incident where one Osileme Peace was robbed of his motorcycle by two armed men dressed in Vigilante uniform.
โActing on credible Intelligence, operatives of the Command arrested one Monday Okojie 35yrs with an automatic pump action short gun and identified by the victim as one of the armed men that robbed him.
โEffort is ongoing to arrest the other fleeing suspect and recover the motorcycle, while investigation continues.
