Professor Kehinde appointed new FUNAAB DVC

A professor of Plants Breeding and Genetics, Olusola Kehinde, has been appointed the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, (Development), of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Ogun State.

In a statement issued by the university Registrar, Dr. ‘Bola Adekola, Kehinde took over from Prof. Clement Adeofun whose tenure ended last week.

Also, FUNAAB’s Head of Public Relations, Mr Kola Adepoju, who confirmed the appointment, said prior to his appointment, Kehinde had served the university ‘’meritoriously at top management cum leadership level.’’

“He left in his trail enduring legacy of immense contributions to the overall development of the institution,’’ he said.

The registrar added the new DVC impacted positively during his tenure as former Dean of College of Plant Science and Crop Production where he carved a niche of reference for himself.

He was also a Director of Institute for Human Resources Development at one time.
