The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State has dismissed a report by Sahara Reporters alleging that its delegates were stranded due to failure to release mobilisation funds.

In a statement issued on Saturday, the Lagos APC described the report as false, misleading, and a deliberate attempt to misinform the public.
The party insisted that no delegate from Lagos State was stranded at any airport or motor park, noting that all accredited delegates were transported to Abuja in an organised and coordinated manner.
According to the party, adequate arrangements were made for the delegates’ movement and welfare, including the provision of comfortable transportation and decent accommodation upon arrival.
The APC further clarified that the Lagos State Government was not responsible for funding party activities, stressing that its logistics and finances are managed internally through established party structures.
It accused the publisher of the report of promoting a pattern of misinformation and unverified claims aimed at misleading the public.
The party also criticised what it described as a conflict of interest involving the publisher, alleging that his political affiliations raise questions about the credibility of the platform.
The Lagos APC urged the public to treat sensational reports with caution and rely on credible and verified sources of information.
Reaffirming its focus, the party stated that it remains committed to strengthening internal unity and supporting good governance in Lagos State and across the country.
