The federal government has reaffirmed its commitment to addressing the welfare, remuneration, and pension concerns of military veterans.
The assurance was given by General Christopher Gwabin Musa, Minister of Defence during a meeting with veterans’ representatives in Abuja.
Represented by the Permanent Secretary, Richard Pheelangwah, the Minister said relevant authorities are working towards a fair and sustainable resolution of the veterans’ concerns
He appealed for calm and constructive dialogue, assuring the veterans that the Ministry would sustain engagement with their representatives and keep them informed of progress.
