Manchester City are reportedly closing in on the signing of Lille midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi after reaching an agreement with the French club over a deal worth up to €100 million, including add-ons.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Lille have given the green light for the midfielder’s move after agreeing terms with Manchester City.
Bouaddi had reportedly reached an agreement with the Premier League champions in July and is now expected to complete his move during the summer transfer window.
The development comes as Chelsea have also made their position clear on the future of forward Jamie Gittens.
Chelsea have reportedly rejected a loan proposal from Italian club AS Roma for the 22-year-old, with the offer said to have included an option to buy.
According to talkSPORT, Chelsea have no plans to sanction Gittens’ departure and are unwilling to negotiate an exit for the forward.
The club reportedly intends to retain Gittens in its squad for the coming season, despite interest from Roma.
The contrasting developments highlight Manchester City’s continued activity in the transfer market, while Chelsea appear determined to keep hold of one of their attacking options.
