Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, of Ondo State has approved the reappointment of Dr. Taiwo Fasoranti as the Secretary to the State Government (SSG).
The appointment takes immediate effect, according to a statement issued on Tuesday by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan.
Dr. Fasoranti previously served as the state’s SSG until March 30, 2026, when he resigned from the position to contest the All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial primaries for the Ondo Central Senatorial District.
His return to office marks a renewed confidence in his administrative competence and experience in public service.
The statement noted that Dr. Fasoranti brings a wealth of experience in public administration, governance and policy formulation to the position.
Governor Aiyedatiwa congratulated the reappointed SSG and urged him to justify the confidence reposed in him by serving the people of Ondo State with dedication, integrity and commitment.
The governor also charged Dr. Fasoranti to support the effective implementation of the administration’s Our Ease Agenda, aimed at accelerating development and improving the welfare of residents across the state.
The reappointment is with immediate effect.
