A total of ₦1.703 trillion, of the Federation Account Revenue for January 2025, has been distributed among the Federal Government, states, and local government councils.
This was disclosed In a statement issued on Thursday by Bawa Mokwa, the Director of Press and Public Relations at the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation.
Mokwa reported that the distribution of revenue took place during the Federation Account Allocation Committee meeting held on Thursday in Abuja.
The statement from the FAAC meeting, it was revealed that the overall revenue has reached ₦1.703 trillion. This total includes statutory revenue of ₦749.727 billion and Value Added Tax revenue amounting to ₦718.781 billion.
The statement revealed that there was a total gross revenue of ₦2.641 trillion recorded in January 2025.
