Nigerians Assured Of Prompt Medical Emergency Services

The National Blood Service Commission and The National Emergency Medical Services and Ambulance System have reaffirmed the Federal Government’s commitment to ensuring that every Nigerian receives free emergency medical treatment within the first 48 hours of any emergency, regardless of location or socioeconomic status.

This will be through the National Emergency Medical Services and Ambulance System (NEMSAS) which is expected to provides a single coordinated platform to ensure timely response, efficient procedures, and access for vulnerable groups without upfront payment.

Nigerians are therefore urge to take advantage of the initiative available in both public and private hospitals nationwide.
