The Secretary to the Government of the Federation Senator George Akume remains in his office. No changes in his status as it has been speculated by a section of the media.
This is contained in a statement by Bayo Onanug, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy.
It adds, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, currently in Saint Lucia, has not made any new appointments.
The statement urges the public to dismiss the information circulating about Akume’s replacement as false, noting that the agents of mischief had fabricated it.
“The Presidency advises Nigerians to disregard the fake news.” The statement concludes.
