The Benue State Police Command has commenced a 3-day examination exercise for over 16,000 applicants who successfully passed the recent physical and credentials screening exercise for recruitment of Police Constables.

About 16,000 applicants are currently undertaking the examination exercise for both General Duty and Specialist applicants from Benue State in Makurdi. It is organized by the Police Service Commission, PSC, in collaboration with the Nigeria Police Force, NPF.
This phase of the exercise, which takes place between 28th to 30th April 2026, is part of a wider program for enlistment into the Nigeria Police Force.
All applicants are expected to be in attendance with necessary documents and items for the exercise.
According to Udeme Edet, Police Public Relations Officer of the Benue Command, anyone found engaging in any unlawful acts will be arrested and prosecuted. He warned the applicants to be cautious and refrain from activities that could jeopardize their future.
