President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has arrived in Nairobi to participate in the Africa Forward Summit aimed at deepening regional cooperation and advancing sustainable development across the continent.

The President’s aircraft touched down at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport at about 12:18 a.m. local time on Monday.
Tinubu was received on arrival by Musalia Mudavadi, alongside the Kenyan High Commissioner to Nigeria, Isaac Parashina, senior Kenyan government officials, and members of Nigeria’s diplomatic mission in Kenya.
The Africa Forward Summit is being co-hosted by Kenyan President William Ruto and French President Emmanuel Macron.
According to the Presidency, Tinubu’s participation reflects Nigeria’s commitment to strengthening African unity, expanding regional economic cooperation, and promoting strategic partnerships for sustainable growth on the continent.
The summit is expected to bring together African leaders, policymakers, business executives, development partners, and other stakeholders to discuss economic transformation, trade expansion, infrastructure development, digital innovation, climate resilience, and continental prosperity.
During the meeting, President Tinubu is expected to hold bilateral and multilateral engagements aimed at strengthening Nigeria’s diplomatic and economic ties with other African countries while reinforcing Nigeria’s leadership role in regional affairs.
The President is accompanied on the trip by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bianca Ojukwu; Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Abubakar Kyari; Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola; Minister of Environment, Balarabe Abbas Lawal; Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Jumoke Oduwole; and Minister of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, Bosun Tijani.
Other members of the delegation include officials from the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission, the National Council on Climate Change, and Nigeria’s diplomatic mission in France.
